Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Revill Law Firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our criminal defense practice in Birmingham, Alabama. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable handling multiple tasks and deadlines throughout the day.
This position will primarily provide support to the senior paralegal and attorneys with case management, client communication, scheduling, document preparation, and general office operations.
Requirements
Responsibilities Include:
Answer phones and assist with general office administration
Maintain calendars and court dates
Scan, upload, and organize records and evidence
E-file documents through AlaFile and other court systems
Draft legal documents, motions, notices, and correspondence
Organize and maintain client files and discovery
Qualifications:
Prior legal experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
Attention to detail is extremely important
Professional demeanor with clients and court personnel
Comfortable working in a fast-paced criminal defense environment
Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic office technology preferred
