We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established legal services organization in Jacksonville, FL. This in-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong background in insurance defense litigation, bodily injury, and general liability matters.

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative litigation practice by reviewing and summarizing medical records, preparing case materials, communicating with clients and counsel, and helping move cases forward efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation for litigation matters.
- Prepare medical chronologies, bill summaries, and case-related documents to support attorney strategy and case development.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams.
- Assist with insurance defense litigation matters involving bodily injury, general liability, and related claims.
- Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and support attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Use legal technology and Microsoft Office tools to prepare, edit, organize, and manage documents and case materials.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support insurance defense litigation matters, including bodily injury and general liability cases.
- Review and summarize medical records, medical bills, and supporting documents.
- Create medical chronologies, bill summaries, and organized case materials.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, counsel, and internal legal teams in a professional manner.

- 3 or more years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation preferred, especially bodily injury and/or general liability matters.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills.
- Working knowledge of Florida court procedures preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
- Task-oriented mindset with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced legal setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior paralegal experience supporting Florida insurance defense litigation.
- Experience with bodily injury, general liability, or related civil litigation matters.
- Familiarity with Florida court procedures, litigation deadlines, and legal document workflows.
- Strong ability to prepare accurate medical chronologies and billing summaries for attorney review.
