Job Summary

A highly respected legal services firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy Eminent Domain practice group. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented litigation professional who enjoys complex case work, strong attorney collaboration, and a fast-paced legal environment.

The Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, court filings, document management, research, and trial preparation. Prior Eminent Domain experience is preferred, but the firm is open to training a strong litigation paralegal with experience in complex civil litigation, corporate law, public finance, or government-related legal work.

Key Responsibilities

- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, pleadings, court filings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
- Prepare deposition, trial, and record subpoenas in accordance with Federal and Florida state court procedures.
- Organize, analyze, review, and summarize discovery materials, third-party records, case documents, and eDiscovery materials.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, legal submissions, and related litigation documents.
- Prepare trial notebooks, binders, exhibits, case materials, and attorney preparation files.
- Maintain litigation calendars and monitor deadlines, hearings, conferences, filings, and other critical case events.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support a busy litigation practice group with case management, discovery, document organization, filings, and trial preparation.
- Prepare and manage subpoenas, pleadings, discovery materials, exhibits, and litigation support documents.
- Conduct legal and investigative research using litigation and public records tools.
- Coordinate deadlines, court filings, hearings, conferences, and case calendars.

- Minimum 5 years of Litigation Paralegal experience required, with 6 to 10 years of experience strongly aligned with this role.
- Strong knowledge of Federal and Florida state court procedures.
- Experience with document management systems and eDiscovery platforms.
- Ability to draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal submissions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Proficiency with research tools such as Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
- Excellent organization, project management, multitasking, and deadline management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work additional hours when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Eminent Domain litigation experience.
- Experience in corporate law, public finance, government-related legal work, or complex civil litigation.
- Prior experience supporting mediation, arbitration, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Strong background handling high-volume discovery, document production, and third-party records review.
