Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Paralegal to support commercial real estate transactions for an established real estate development organization in Greenville, SC. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong commercial real estate experience and the ability to manage transactions from contract preparation through closing.

The Commercial Paralegal will work closely with legal and development leadership in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where organization, accuracy, integrity, and follow-through are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, amendments, estoppels, and side letter agreements.
- Manage seller deliverables by organizing transaction files, preparing notification letters, and compiling closing documentation.
- Coordinate due diligence activities, including obtaining proposals, ordering reports, tracking deadlines, and monitoring required documentation.
- Review and manage title commitments, surveys, title exception documents, title objection letters, and Phase I environmental reports.
- Assist with acquisition and disposition closings by coordinating documentation, deadlines, and communication with internal and external parties.
- Maintain organized project files and provide legal and administrative support to team members as transactions approach closing.
Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support commercial real estate transactions from contract drafting through closing.
- Coordinate due diligence, title, survey, environmental, and closing documentation.
- Draft, review, organize, and distribute legal and transaction-related documents.
- Collaborate with legal leadership and internal project teams on active development transactions.
- 3 to 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience required.
- Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transaction processes, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, title, surveys, and due diligence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Process-driven, dependable, and able to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting real estate development, retail, residential, industrial, or commercial property transactions.
- Experience working with title commitments, survey reviews, environmental reports, estoppels, and closing document packages.
- Prior experience in an in-house legal department or real estate development environment.
