Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

• We are a highly rated maritime defense firm devoted to representing vessel owners, operators and charterers, cruise lines, concessionaires, cargo interests, marine insurance underwriters, protection & indemnity associations, and marine lenders.

• Our practice in admiralty and maritime matters includes extensive civil trial and appellate work in state and federal courts throughout Florida.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Litigation Paralegal to assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from inception through trial.

• Responsibilities include pretrial investigation, preparing detailed medical chronologies, discovery support, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience handling federal court cases

• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and LexisNexis

• Familiarity with Clio or other case/document management software (preferred)
