The paralegal will work directly with a Senior Partner in the firm and will have the opportunity to grow professionally in a highly functional, supportive, family-like team environment. Core Responsibilities Provide overall daily support to the attorney, and concierge-level service to clients Prepare and draft settlement demand letters Facilitate client communication to include case updates, documentation, and scheduling Organize and maintain case files including medical records and legal documents Master use of the firm's electronic case and calendar management software Communicate with insurance companies, attorneys, and healthcare providers Manage supervising attorney's case calendar Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to legal ethics and professional conduct standards. Qualifications Two-year degree and/or equivalent paralegal certification Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm A proactive mindset to anticipate attorney and case needs and bring solutions Excellent oral, written and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Thrive working independently, and also as part of a team A natural people-person with high emotional intelligence and compassion Excellent time management, case management and multi-tasking skills A strong work ethic that is client-focused, team-oriented, and driven by a passion for advocacy and excellence Litigation experience is preferred but not required Benefits We offer a robust compensation package, with a 401(k) plan with matching contributions from the firm. Base starting salary range is competitive, $85,000.00 and up, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
