Client is looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal with trust and estate litigation experience + some real estate work as well.
Compensation: $75,000$80,000 (some flex) + Discretionary Bonus
Schedule: On-site (first 2 months), then hybrid (1 day/week remote)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of legal administrative or paralegal experience required.
- Paralegal background is a significant plus and strongly preferred.
- Experience in trust and estate litigation required; residential real estate preferred, commercial considered.
- Litigation or transactional real estate experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with iManage or similar DMS a plus.
- Draft and revise legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda.
- Format court pleadings per applicable court rules, including auto-generation of TOAs and TOCs.
- File and e-file documents in state and federal courts.
- Manage attorney calendars; schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain and organize client files in iManage (firm's document management system) and process files for off-site storage.
- Open new client files and maintain client/matter numbers and CRM records for each assignment.
