Legal Assistant Jobs in Illinois

Some certifications they can obtain include Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA). Prior to becoming a Legal Assistant, a person may have roles such as a Legal Secretary, Administrative Assistant in a law firm, or Legal Researcher. These positions provide valuable experience in understanding the dynamics of the legal industry and help in developing the necessary skills for the role of a Legal Assistant.
