The Nashville office is seeking a Litigion Staff Attorney with experience handling tort litigion mters, preferably involving healthcare, medical malpractice, long-term care, or nursing home defense. This role offers substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, regular courtroom appearances, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigors in a collegial and supportive environment.
Litigion Staff Attorney Benefits & Compension- $150,000$200,000 base salary, depending on experience

- Manage tort litigion mters from inception through resolution
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigion documents
- Attend hearings, mediions, and court appearances
- Assist with trial preparion and trial support
- Communice directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts
- Develop litigion stregy and case evaluions
- Travel periodically throughout Tennessee for litigion-reled mters
- Active Tennessee Bar license or ability to waive into Tennessee
- 4+ years of litigion experience
- Tort litigion experience required
- Experience in healthcare litigion, medical malpractice defense, long-term care defense, nursing home litigion, or reled practice areas strongly preferred
- Experience conducting and defending depositions
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Courtroom experience and comfort handling hearings independently
- Trial experience is a plus
- Strong organizional and case management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaboring effectively with a team
