Litigion Associe Attorney Requirements & Qualificions
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 35 years of litigion experience
- Experience in construction litigion, real property litigion, or reled civil litigion mters preferred
- Ability to independently manage litigion responsibilities while working collaborively within a team
- Experience handling all phases of litigion, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent communicion and client relionship management abilities
- Strong academic credentials
- Exceptional organizional skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work full-time in the Sarasota office
Litigion Associe Attorney Preferred Background & Skills
- Construction litigion experience
- Real property litigion experience
- Defense-side litigion experience preferred
- Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions
- Experience conducting and defending depositions

Litigion Associe Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support and manage litigion mters throughout Florida
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and develop litigion stregies
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare for and tend hearings, mediions, and court proceedings
- Assist with case management from inception through resolution
- Communice directly with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and experts
- Collabore with partners and torneys across the firm's litigion practice
- Provide practical legal guidance and stregic support to clients
