Job Summary

A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Associate to join its High Net Worth Planning practice in Orlando, FL. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an estate planning attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys sophisticated client work, strategic planning, and drafting complex estate planning documents.

The Estate Planning Associate will work closely with high net worth clients to design and implement customized planning strategies involving trusts, charitable planning, and tax mitigation. Key Responsibilities

- Draft and review estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related planning instruments.
- Develop customized estate, gift, charitable, and tax planning strategies for high net worth clients.
- Meet directly with clients to understand goals, explain planning options, and deliver practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and professional advisors to coordinate comprehensive planning solutions.
- Analyze tax implications and recommend mitigation strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Maintain a substantial in-office presence to support client service, collaboration, and team communication.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Direct hire, full-time position.
- Location: Orlando, FL.
- Work arrangement: Substantial in-office presence required.

- Manage client communications and provide clear, strategic guidance throughout the planning process.

- 3 to 5 years of estate planning attorney experience.
- LL.M. in Tax required.
- Strong experience drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts and related estate planning documents.
- Knowledge of charitable planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work closely with clients and communicate complex planning concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical, drafting, organization, and client service skills.
- Professional judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain a substantial presence in the Orlando office.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with high net worth clients.
- Background in sophisticated estate, gift, trust, and charitable planning matters.
- Experience collaborating with financial advisors, accountants, and other client advisory professionals.
