Personal Injury Litigation AttorneyLocation: West Palm Beach, FLSalary: $110k -$170k + performance compensationRequirements: JD, Licensed to practive in FL in good standing, 3+ years exp in Personal Injury (Plaintiff) Law, Jury Trial experience (1st Chair or 2nd Chair)Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to represent plaintiffs in complex and high-stakes personal injury matters. The attorney will manage a full litigation docket from intake through resolution, develop case strategy, lead discovery and trial preparation, negotiate settlements, and zealously advocate for clients at hearings and trials with the goal of securing maximum recovery and favorable verdicts.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including auto accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, defective product claims, and medical malpractice.Manage a full caseload from client intake through case resolution, including evaluation, investigation, and development of legal strategy.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and trial briefs.Conduct and defend depositions, take witness statements, and coordinate with fact and expert witnesses.Lead or serve as second chair at trials and hearings; prepare exhibits, witness outlines, and trial presentations to pursue favorable verdicts.Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies while counseling clients on realistic outcomes and risks.Coordinate investigations with private investigators and medical experts to develop and strengthen case evidence.Maintain regular client communication, provide case updates, and ensure excellent client service and trust.Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maintain high quality casework and firm standards.Manage deadlines, court appearances, and case files to ensure compliance with procedural and ethical obligations.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice in FloridaMinimum of 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience with demonstrable courtroom exposure.Proven trial experience and ability to serve as first chair or second chair at jury trials and bench trials.Strong knowledge of personal injury practice areas, including auto accidents, slip-and-fall, defective product claims, and medical malpractice.Excellent litigation skills: pleadings and motion drafting, discovery practice, depositions, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of obtaining favorable settlements and verdicts for plaintiffs.Client-focused communication skills, strong ethical judgment, and ability to manage a demanding caseload.Comfortable working in a collaborative firm environment and mentoring junior team members.Nice to have: prior experience as a PI Associate Attorney, specialized background in medical malpractice, significant first-chair trial victories, experience obtaining jury verdicts, and familiarity with complex catastrophic injury matters.BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary: $110,000 - $170,000HealthDentalVision401kBonusPTO
