Job Description
Our firm practices Marketing Law, including TCPA compliance and litigation matters.
Our litigation practice includes the defense of TCPA matters in Federal Courts throughout the country. Typically these are filed as putative class actions in which our staff attorneys get admitted pro hac vice, serve as lead defense counsel and handle the litigation along with local counsel (which is required but usually does not play a large role).
Notably, most of this work can be and is routinely done remotely. For the most part, the work is typical for any similar civil litigation, that is to say, preparing and filing pleadings and motions, engaging in discovery, and negotiating settlements with opposing counsel.
Ideal candidates would be attorneys with at least some experience in federal litigation who are articulate, organized and willing to learn a (presumably) new area of law.
We pay contractors based on hourly billing submitted to the firm at the end of each calendar month.
