LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant with insurance defense experience to join a respected law firm in the Orlando market. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in insurance defense matters
Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
Manage case files from inception through resolution
Handle calendaring, scheduling, and deadline tracking for state and federal matters
Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparation materials
E-file documents in state and federal courts
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Qualifications:
2-3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within insurance defense
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
Experience with e-filing in Florida courts (state and federal preferred)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
