LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant with insurance defense experience to join a respected law firm in the Orlando market. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in insurance defense matters

  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings

  • Manage case files from inception through resolution

  • Handle calendaring, scheduling, and deadline tracking for state and federal matters

  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparation materials

  • E-file documents in state and federal courts

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within insurance defense

  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules

  • Experience with e-filing in Florida courts (state and federal preferred)

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
