OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our Legal team in Las Vegas. This role will serve as a trusted legal advisor across the business, supporting a wide range of commercial, fintech, regulatory, and employment-related matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong business judgment, exceptional contract negotiation skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, technology, vendor, and strategic partnership agreements
Support the companys fintech business area and advise on related legal and regulatory matters
Provide legal guidance on labor and employment issues, litigation support, and risk mitigation strategies
Manage vendor contracting workflows and partner closely with cross-functional business teams
Assist with regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and transactional matters including due diligence and document negotiation
Manage outside counsel and support pre-litigation and litigation activities as needed
Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide practical recommendations to leadership
Mentor and support a direct report while collaborating with a broader legal team
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
8+ years of relevant law firm and/or in-house legal experience
Strong background in commercial contracting, technology transactions, and business counseling
Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including software licensing and hosted services agreements
Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a practical and solutions-oriented way
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
Fintech, gaming, or highly regulated industry experience is a plus
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
Sound judgment and strategic thinking skills
Collaborative mindset with strong business partnership capabilities
High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail

At IGT, we believe compensation should be as individual as you are, reflecting your skills, experience, background, and location. For this role, the starting compensation range is $185,910 - $305,820 USD, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications.
