FT. Multiple Positions. Conduct Legal Rsrch. Anlyz case law, statutes, regs, compile memos to support attys. Assist in drafting agreements, complaints, pleadings. File briefs, exhibits, appeal. Rsrch exposure to chemicals & chain of distribution of var prods; assist w/ Notices of Violations pursuant to The Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act. Req: JD (or foreign equiv Law Degree). Will accept a foreign eqiuv law degree if the candidate has earned the LLM per Rule 4.30(A) of the Rules of the CA State Bar (Admissions Rules) or is otherwise eligible to take the CA Bar Exam (fully admitted to practice in any U.S. state/foreign jurisdiction). Must have demonstrated knowl w/: conducting rsrch using LexisNexis & Westlaw; rsrch'g companies to determine size, type of entity, business license & registration status, formation/dissolution history. Knowl can be gained thru law school coursework, work exp, internship &/or cert.
