Competitive salary based on education, experience, and qualifications with a starting range of $16.00/hour.

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) is looking for a Law Clerk Intern that will be mentored by the General Counsel (GC) department. Our GC department serves as the agency's in-house counsel - providing legal advice, representation and services to the agency, the governing board, executive director, management, staff, councils, committees, and other sub-entities.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Perform legal research.
Support attorneys and staff on legal matters.
Special legal projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have completed one year of legal education and be currently enrolled in a law school as a 2L or 3L.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful applicants possess the following skills:
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information.
Strong research abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
