Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000
LHH has partnered with a respected, clientfocused personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who is passionate about advocating for injured individuals. This role offers meaningful involvement in cases from intake through resolution, handson pretrial and trial support, and direct collaboration with attorneys-with no billable hour requirement.
Responsibilities
Support attorneys on personal injury matters from intake through resolution
Assist with pretrial and trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, witness files, and courtroom logistics
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
Manage state and federal efilings and court deadlines
Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, and production
Review and summarize medical records; prepare medical and litigation chronologies
Assist with deposition preparation and exhibit organization
Maintain organized case files, discovery materials, and litigation calendars
Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
Pretrial and trial experience strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
Experience managing medical records and complex case documentation
Proficiency with efiling systems, document management software, and Microsoft Office
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
