This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience of legal practice in Employment Law. As a Law Clerk, you will support attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, discovery, managing case files, and assisting with client interviews and document review. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about developing their legal skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to professional growth and excellence. Duties: Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw. Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, discovery, correspondence etc. with precision and clarity. Assist attorneys with case management tasks such as organizing files in document management systems and maintaining accurate data entry records. Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws etc. Support litigation efforts through document review, case file organization, and preparation of trial materials. Conduct client interviews. Participate in mediations, depositions etc. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence. Ability to perform detailed research on complex legal issues related to contracts, litigation procedures, or regulatory compliance. Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Strong proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.
