An established mid-size litigation firm in the Denver Tech Center is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. The firm represents clients across a wide range of complex matters, including Arbitration & Mediation, Bad Faith, Commercial Litigation, Construction, Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment, Fidelity & Surety, Insurance Coverage, Oil & Gas, Personal Injury, Products Liability, Professional Liability, and Tort Defense .

Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience and be comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution. This role offers significant responsibility and client interaction, with opportunities to handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit analysis, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue dispositive motions
Attend hearings in state and federal courts
Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop case strategy
Provide case analysis, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
2-10 years of litigation experience in any practice area (excluding family law and criminal-only backgrounds)
Demonstrated experience with core litigation tasks (depositions, motion practice, court appearances)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience in insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, bad faith, personal injury, construction defect, or premises liability
Exposure to any of the firm's core practice areas listed above
Experience drafting coverage opinions or conducting examinations under oath
Licensure & Additional Requirements
Active license to practice law in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
Comfortable using legal technology and case management systems
