This position involves full responsibility for litigation matters in state and federal court, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial.The firm represents clients in matters involving auto accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and related personal injury claims.Key Responsibilities:Meet with clients and file lawsuitsManage cases from inception through resolution or verdictDraft and respond to written discoveryTake and defend fact witness depositionsRetain, prepare, and work with expert witnessesAttend expert depositionsPrepare for and attend hearings and mediationsNegotiate settlements when appropriatePrepare cases for trial and try cases to verdictDraft and file pre-trial and post-trial motionsWork closely with paralegals and litigation support staffQualifications:Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive Florida Bar license in good standing3 or more years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experienceDemonstrated jury trial experienceFirst-chair trial experience strongly preferredProven experience with pleadings, complaint drafting, motion practice, summary judgment motions, and Daubert motionsStrong courtroom presence and ability to independently manage cases through trialBenefitsCompetitive Base Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 (DOE)HealthDentalVision401kBonusPTO
