Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance to clients on estate planning, elder law, and long-term care issues, ensuring that clients' wishes are effectively documented and executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Draft and review estate planning documents tailored to clients' needs.
- Assist clients with elder law issues, including long-term care planning and Medicaid eligibility.
- Represent clients in probate and estate administration proceedings.
- Educate clients about estate planning strategies and the implications of their choices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to estate planning and elder law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in estate planning and elder law.
- Strong understanding of long-term care issues and planning strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- $100k - $200k Base Salary DOE
- Bonus compensation for production and performance
