Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a focus on commercial disputes. This role involves representing clients in complex legal matters, managing cases from inception to resolution, and providing strategic legal advice.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from start to finish
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibits
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through mediation and arbitration
• Perform discovery and manage the production of documents
• Prepare for and attend court appearances and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong understanding of contract law and civil procedure
• Excellent legal writing and documentation skills
• Proficient in case management and trial preparation
• Demonstrated negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with mediation, arbitration, and court appearances
