Patent Associate Attorney Responsibilities
  • Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications
  • Analyze inventions and collaborate with inventors and clients
  • Conduct patentability assessments and technical reviews
  • Prepare responses to USPTO communications
  • Manage patent matters independently while coordinating with attorneys across offices
  • Deliver high-quality legal work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Patent Associate Attorney Requirements & Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active Georgia state bar license in good standing or ability to obtain admission as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
  • 3-6 years of patent law experience
  • Significant patent drafting experience required
  • Strong analytical, technical, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to work full-time in-office
