Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Data Entry professional for a contract/temporary, month-long project supporting a Legal, Security, and Compliance team in the computer software industry. This fully remote opportunity is available to candidates located in the Dallas, TX area only.

This role is ideal for a paralegal or contracts professional who enjoys contract review, metadata extraction, database accuracy, and structured data clean-up work. You will help address a backlog of contract data entry by reviewing contractual information and updating a contract management system to improve indexing, reporting, and visibility for key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Review contracts and extract relevant metadata for entry into a contract management system.
- Perform accurate data entry and updates across a large database containing historical contract records.
- Interpret contractual language to ensure information is categorized, indexed, and reported correctly.
- Support contract data clean-up efforts to improve agreement tracking and stakeholder reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive legal and business documents.
- Collaborate with the Legal, Security, and Compliance team to complete project deliverables within the assignment timeline.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $28 to $30 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.
- Project length: Approximately one month.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote for Dallas, TX area candidates only.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Extract contract metadata and enter data into a contract management system.
- Review and update contract records for improved indexing and reporting.
- Support legal operations data clean-up for a backlog of contract documents.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a paralegal, contracts, legal operations, or contract administration role.
- Background in legal or contracts work with a solid understanding of contractual language.
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable navigating large databases and contract management systems.
- Ability to review legal documents and identify key contract terms, dates, parties, and related metadata.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be located in the Dallas, TX area.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems or legal document databases.
- Prior experience supporting Legal, Security, Compliance, or software industry teams.
- Familiarity with contract indexing, reporting, data validation, or document management processes.
