Employment Associate Attorney
Responsibilities:
- Advise employers on a broad spectrum of employee benefits and executive compensation issues, including health and welfare plans and retirement plans
- Counsel clients on compliance with evolving statutory and regulatory requirements affecting employee benefit programs
- Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, tax, labor & employment, ERISA litigation, health, and related practice groups
- Maintain regular communication with in-house counsel and HR professionals to support client needs and deliver practical legal guidance
- Assist in structuring, reviewing, and managing benefit and compensation arrangements in line with applicable law
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits and compensation law within a law firm or consulting environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service orientation
- Active admission to the bar in the state of employment
- Strong academic credentials
