Position Summary
Our Denver office has an exciting opportunity for an Advice & Counsel Employment Attorney to join our growing group. We welcome experienced applicants at various levels, including Associate or Of Counsel, with flexibility regarding Shareholder track status, remote or in-office work, and part-time or full-time availability.
Please note: Shareholder track opportunities are only available for in-office positions and are not offered as remote roles.
This role focuses on providing advice and counsel to management-side clients on a wide range of employment law matters. Key responsibilities include:
Requirements
Providing day-to-day employment law advice to clients on workplace policies, compliance, and risk management.
Performing legal research and drafting memoranda and other legal documents.
Specifically, candidates must have substantial experience in advising companies in the areas of disability accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, reductions in force (WARN, severance agreements), incentive pay plans, restrictive covenants, employee discipline, and terminations.
We are seeking candidates with a strong passion for employment law, excellent analytical and writing skills, who prioritize responsiveness, who have the ability to provide practical and business-oriented legal advice, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Given the broad scope of this search, we encourage experienced candidates within a reasonable distance of a Colorado office to , regardless of work preference (remote/in-office, part-time/full-time).
Qualified candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree and be licensed to practice law in Colorado, maintaining active and good standing status throughout their employment. Candidates must also satisfy all continuing legal education and licensure requirements necessary to remain eligible to practice law in Colorado.
8+ years of Employment Litigation Defense experience is preferred.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Benefits
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $220,000 and $20,000. The application deadline for this position is December 31, 2026.
