Key Responsibilities
-Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
-Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring accuracy and organization
-Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination
-Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner
-Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court requirements
-Conduct legal research and assist in case strategy development
Qualifications
-Minimum of 2+ years of family law paralegal experience
-Strong knowledge of family law procedures, terminology, and court rules
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
-Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
