stablished law firm, with nine locations across the United States, is seeking experienced litigation paralegal for new California office. The position includes general paralegal duties such as, but not limited to: formatting pleadings and other legal documents; compiling and preparing discovery and documents; serving and filing pleadings; maintenance of electronic document management system; scheduling and coordinating court dates, appointments and other related meetings; coordinating with co-counsel across the country; coordinating requests between multiple parties involved in litigation, including consistent communication with client, claims representatives in cooperation with assigned attorneys. Any candidate interested in this position must be self-motivated and have excellent multi-tasking skills. Hybrid remote position with 3 days a week in the office.

Required Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
MUST HAVE TOXIC TORT EXPERIENCE.
3 years minimum experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
Experience with California Courts and electronic filing systems (File & Serve).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Organizational skills and document management a must.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and continuous-learning environment.
Superior technology skills proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Teams and Zoom or any other virtual conferencing platform.
Ability to prioritize, organize and manage workload and to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating what needs to be done.
Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
Requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to exercise good judgment.
A plus if you have these skills:

Associate Degree Preferred, but not required
Paralegal Certification with focus on litigation preferred, but not required
Maintenance of electronic document management system.
Maintain calendars for multiple jurisdictions.
Familiar with case management Orders and understands calendaring of court ordered deadlines.
Strong knowledge of pleadings including answers, notices, motions, briefs, and discovery.
Advanced knowledge of complex cases as well as general and toxic tort litigation matters a plus
Experience with communicating and coordinating with co-counsel across the United States.
