Senior Family Law Paralegal

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our busy and growing family law practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling California family law matters from inception through resolution and will be capable of working independently while supporting attorneys in all aspects of case management.
Responsibilities
Draft and review correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other family law documents.
Prepare and organize financial disclosures, Judicial Council forms, declarations, settlement agreements, and trial-related documents.
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and third parties.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, settlement conferences, and hearings.
Maintain electronic client files and case management systems.
Track billable time and enter timekeeping information in the firms case management software.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 3 years of recent California family law paralegal experience.
Strong knowledge of California family law procedures, forms, and court rules.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic filing systems.
Preferred
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
Experience with Clio Manage, Smokeball, ShareFile, or similar legal software.
A current California Notary Public commission is preferred but not required for this position.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position located in Encino, California. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
