Established and growing Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm is seeking an experienced Processing Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of personal injury experience and be knowledgeable in handling all aspects of a case from intake through pre-litigation.
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently, manage a high-volume caseload, and provide exceptional client service. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client intake and ongoing client communication
Opening claims with insurance carriers
Filing No-Fault applications and related documents
Assisting clients with property damage and lost wage claims
Scheduling and following up on medical treatment
Obtaining and reviewing medical records and billing records
Requesting and tracking police reports and other supporting documentation
Maintaining case files and updating case management software
Regular communication with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients
Monitoring deadlines and ensuring files are progressing appropriately
Qualifications:
15 years of Plaintiff's Personal Injury experience required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SmartAdvocate experience is a plus
Spanish fluency preferred
