Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal-HOA for a direct hire opportunity with a legal services firm in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a litigation-focused paralegal or legal assistant with strong HOA, condominium association, foreclosure, collections, or community association law experience.

This position supports a busy association law practice handling covenant violations, foreclosure matters, liens, collections, notices, complaints, and other document-intensive legal processes. The environment is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and highly collaborative, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, HOA and Condo Board members, homeowners, and property management companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a high-volume caseload involving HOA, condominium association, foreclosure, collections, and covenant enforcement matters.
- Prepare and process legal documents, including notices, complaints, liens, releases of liens, foreclosure notices, and related correspondence.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, association board members, homeowners, property managers, and other involved parties.
- Track deadlines, maintain litigation files, organize case documents, and ensure timely completion of required filings and notices.
- Support all phases of litigation and pre-litigation file management, including document preparation, follow-up, and case status tracking.
- Assist with association-related legal matters involving violations, collections, foreclosures, and general community association issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote, with Wednesday and Friday currently designated as work-from-home days.
- Office location: Orlando, FL, near Avalon Park and UCF.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate with attorneys, board members, homeowners, and management companies on active legal files.
- Track deadlines and maintain accurate, organized, document-intensive case files.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant paralegal or legal assistant experience, with strong preference for at least 5 years of solid litigation experience.
- Experience with HOA or condominium association law firm matters is required or strongly preferred.
- Experience handling full-cycle foreclosure litigation cases will be considered.
- Strong litigation file management skills, including document preparation, calendaring, deadline tracking, and follow-up.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven legal environment.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with clients, homeowners, board members, and management companies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask with a strong sense of urgency.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned files.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a law firm representing HOA or condominium associations.
- Knowledge of community association collections, covenant violations, liens, foreclosure procedures, and related Florida legal processes.
- Experience supporting attorneys in both litigation and pre-litigation association matters.
- Strong interest in growing within HOA and condominium association law.
