Job Summary
A respected legal services organization in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal to support a busy insurance defense litigation practice. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a litigation paralegal who is confident preparing cases for trial, working closely with attorneys, managing case details, and attending trial as part of the legal team.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare insurance defense litigation cases for trial, including organizing exhibits, pleadings, discovery, medical records, and supporting documentation.
- Attend trial with attorneys and provide real-time litigation support before and during proceedings.
- Review, summarize, and analyze medical records, medical bills, and supporting documents.
- Create medical chronologies, bill summaries, and case summaries to support litigation strategy.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Manage deadlines, court filings, case calendars, and trial preparation tasks in accordance with Florida court procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.

- Office location: 201 S. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801.
- Schedule: New employees are required to work in the office every day for the first 90 days.
- Hybrid eligibility: After 90 days, the work arrangement may be reviewed for up to two days working from home.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support attorneys with active insurance defense litigation matters from case intake through trial.
- Prepare cases for trial, including organizing documents, exhibits, records, and trial materials.
- Review and summarize medical records and bills for bodily injury and general liability matters.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, counsel, and legal team members in a professional and timely manner.
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required.
- Prior insurance defense litigation experience required or strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting attorneys at trial is required.
- Experience preparing cases for trial, including trial binders, exhibits, deadlines, and case organization.
- Experience with bodily injury and/or general liability matters preferred.
- Prior experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and medical bills preferred.
- Working knowledge of Florida court procedures preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Task-oriented, detail-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Professional, collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a legal team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance defense litigation experience in bodily injury and/or general liability.
- Prior experience attending trial with an attorney.
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures.
- Experience creating medical chronologies and bill summaries.
- Prior experience communicating with insurance carriers and defense clients.
