Job Summary

A respected legal services organization in Maitland, FL is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join its in-office legal team. This direct hire opportunity is well suited for an attorney with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience who is confident managing cases from inception through resolution, producing strong written work, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal documents to support active litigation matters.
- Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including hearings, court appearances, and trials.
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to help achieve favorable and practical outcomes.
- Manage case files, deadlines, records, and documentation throughout all phases of litigation.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure thorough case preparation and effective client representation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- In-office position, with flexibility available after 6 months to one year of service.
- Benefits include dental, vision, PTO, and 401k with firm match after one year of service.
- Health insurance is not offered.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other litigation proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and case-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients.

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, with proven ability to manage cases effectively.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with attorneys and legal support staff.
- Prior experience in a law office setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Community Association Law.
- Experience negotiating settlements and resolving disputes efficiently.
- Strong courtroom presence and client communication skills.
