Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with Eminent Domain experience for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. This in-office role is ideal for a skilled litigation paralegal who is comfortable supporting complex matters in Florida state and federal court and enjoys working in a professional, collaborative legal environment.
The Paralegal with Eminent Domain will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, subpoenas, document review, pleadings, court filings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare deposition, trial, and record subpoenas in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate third-party record production, organize records, and prepare clear summaries for attorney review.
- Analyze, review, and organize documents and data produced by clients and through discovery.
- Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, submissions, discovery requests, and discovery responses for federal and Florida state court matters.
- Prepare litigation notebooks, binders, exhibits, and case materials for hearings, mediation, arbitration, depositions, and trial.
- Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and keep attorneys and legal staff informed of key dates, conferences, and case requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support attorneys in eminent domain and litigation matters through discovery, pleadings, subpoenas, and trial preparation.
- Manage document organization, production, review, and case materials for complex litigation.
- Maintain litigation calendars, case deadlines, and court-related schedules.
- Conduct legal and background research using approved databases and public records resources.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Knowledge of federal courts and Florida state courts.
- Experience with document management systems.
- Experience with eDiscovery and document review platforms.
- Proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
- Experience using legal research and investigative tools such as Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State records, and social media.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.
- Ability to work extra hours as needed based on case deadlines and litigation demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting eminent domain, real estate litigation, land use, condemnation, or government-related litigation matters.
- Experience preparing materials for mediation, arbitration, hearings, depositions, and trial.
- Strong ability to summarize records, discovery materials, and case documents clearly and accurately.
