Employment AttorneyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Employment Attorney to join our litigation team. Our firm focuses its work in four areas where business decisions routinely create the greatest risk and legal exposure: employee compensation, privacy and data protection, corporate fraud and whistleblowing, discrimination and harassment.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in employment litigation from intake through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsConduct legal research and prepare memoranda on federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FLSA, NLRA) and counsel clients on complianceManage case strategy and client communications, including client counseling, settlement negotiations, and mediationPrepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials; present evidence and examine witnesses in courtDraft and negotiate settlement agreements, employment contracts, severance packages, and compensation arrangementsWork collaboratively with colleagues to develop litigation plans, share knowledge, and support business development effortsMaintain accurate case files, billing records, and meet firm productivity and ethical standardsQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction3+ years of litigation experience, with demonstrated trial experience preferredProven experience handling employment law matters, including claims brought by employeesStrong knowledge of employment and labor laws, regulations, and precedent governing wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and compensation disputesExcellent oral advocacy, written communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to draft persuasive briefs and motionsTrack record of effective client counseling, case management, and settlement negotiationsAbility to manage a docket of cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProfessionalism, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical practiceBenefitsMedical, Vision, Dental401kPTO
