Attorney-General Liability REMOTE

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience handling general lilability litigation matters. This position requires a high level of initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and clear, professional communication. The attorney will work collaboratively with attorneys across the firm's footprint and interact directly with clients and industry professionals. Qualifications The successful candidate will have experience litigating civil cases/claims, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will be licensed to practice law in New York at the time of hire 8+ years of experience, preferably in defense litigation J.D. from an accredited law school NY bar license, active and in good standing, required Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Proven track record of success in courtroom appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations Demonstrated interest in defense litigation Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop sound case strategies Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel Provide regular and timely updates to clients on case status, strategy, and potential outcomes Work collaboratively with partners, associates, and legal staff Manage cases while adhering to billing and budget requirements Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc Benefits Remote Bonus plan based on reasonable billable requirement Company sponsored health, vision, and dental benefits 401K Unlimited PTO If you are a dedicated and motivated attorney looking to join a reputable law firm, we invite you to submit your resume to ... or contact me directly at ... .
