This position involves handling a diverse caseload of general liability and professional liability matters, offering the opportunity to engage in challenging and rewarding work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents. Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to clients on liability matters. Collaborate with clients, experts, and other team members to develop case strategies. Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the litigation process. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the CA Bar. Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability and/or professional liability litigation or related practices preferred. Strong litigation skills, including deposition, motion practice, and trial preparation experience. Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
