Job Posting: Labor & Employment Law Attorney Location : Walnut Creek, CA Job Type : Full-Time Practice Area : Labor & Employment Law/Commercial Labor & Employment Law Attorney Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Labor & Employment Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling employment law matters, with strong litigation and/or pre-litigation skills. This position involves managing a diverse caseload, providing strategic legal counsel, and representing clients in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Key Responsibilities : Provide expert legal counsel on Employment Law matters including, wage and hour, PAGA, workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, etc. Assist with commercial related matters in business and/or real estate. Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation. Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution forums. Advise clients on risk management and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Negotiate settlements and work to resolve disputes in a cost-effective and timely manner. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other correspondence. Develop strategies to prevent legal issues and minimize exposure for clients through proactive counsel. Stay up to date with changes in employment law to provide clients with current and effective legal advice. Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in employment litigiation (plaintiff or defense) preferred Interest or experience in business and real estate law a plus Proven ability to handle a full caseload with minimal supervision. Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills. Experience in defending clients against employment-related claims Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed in CA in good standing.
