Litigation Legal Assistant

As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of a collaborative litigation team, providing essential administrative and organizational support to multiple litigation attorneys. Your role is pivotal in ensuring efficient case management through meticulous document preparation, scheduling, and effective communication with clients and courts. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, handling sensitive legal matters with the utmost discretion. This position offers hybrid flexibility, allowing for four remote workdays per month, with the remaining days in-office. Exposure to complex legal matters will provide professional growth opportunities

  • Draft, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; file documents electronically with courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines

  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel; respond to inquiries and relay accurate messages promptly

  • Coordinate attorneys' calendars, court dates, depositions, and client meetings; confirm appointments with clients, witnesses, and court reporters

  • Prepare expense reports, manage billing documentation, monitor deadlines, and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of administrative experience in a legal or corporate setting, preferably litigation support

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal document management software (e.g., iManage); familiarity with legal terminology and protocols

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent professional communication abilities

  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality

  • Effective time management skills

Hybrid:4 remote workdays per month; remaining days in-office
