Location: NASHVILLE, TN 37211 Pay Rate: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually Department: Administration Division: Administration Job Status: Full-Time Status: Accepting Applications Position Type: Full-Time Position Description Are you a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can confidently manage multiple priorities from start to finish? We're seeking a Paralegal to support a dynamic legal department across corporate governance, litigation management, contract administration, compliance initiatives, and legal operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with legal counsel and operational leaders. What You'll Do Prepare and submit corporate filings and documentation, including annual reports, foreign state registrations, and Secretary of State filings. Support entity formation, subsidiary management, and maintenance of corporate governance records and organizational documents. Administer employment claims and litigation matters, including drafting responses to EEOC claims, attorney demand letters, and records requests. Coordinate with local and outside counsel to manage legal matters, documentation, timelines, and status updates. Partner with insurance adjusters and maintain reporting related to litigation expenses and case status. Provide guidance to operational teams on regulatory matters, including patient record requests and legal documentation requirements. Support all phases of contract management, including initiation, drafting, negotiation, approval, and database maintenance. Identify opportunities to improve legal workflows, contract administration processes, and tracking systems. Maintain legal matter management systems and internal trackers, including GRC platforms where applicable. Assist with notarization of legal documents and maintain notary-related requirements as needed. Review outside counsel invoices, support legal budgeting, and track legal spend and matter progress. What We're Looking For Education Associate's degree (required) Bachelor's degree (preferred) Experience Five (5) years of paralegal experience, preferably in both law firm and corporate legal department settings (required) Experience with contract management, litigation support, database management, and corporate records administration (required) Experience with Origami or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms (preferred) Licenses & Certifications Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain (preferred) Paralegal certificate (preferred) Why Join Us As a Paralegal , you'll play an important role in supporting a broad range of legal and compliance functions that directly impact the organization's success.
