Legal Counsel Specialist

This job will entail a wide variety of work supporting Align's LATAM Legal Team. • Be an active and commercially minded business partner to the LATAM teams to continually identify strategic opportunities in intelligent risk-taking. Impeccable business and risk management judgment and ethics.
• Serve as primary point of contact for all legal matters within assigned business unit or area.
• Negotiate, draft and review an extensive range of contracts for assigned business unit or area.
• Review marketing collateral, pricing and promotional materials for compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
• Counsel, advise and train on general corporate legal matters within assigned business unit or area.
• Ensure compliance with Align's contract management process and other company policies and procedures.
• Supervise, develop and mentor junior staff in legal department.
• Collaborate with global legal team to ensure consistency, efficiency and sharing of best practices.
• Conduct legal research and assist in other legal matters as and when needed.

• Provide Compliance training.
• Collaborate with members of Align's LATAM Legal Team to analyze and advise Align's business on complex legal/compliance issues that arise out of its LATAM operations.
• Protect Align's brands at regional and local levels
• Structure and negotiate complex transactions, oversee outside counsel, and coordinate management of litigation.
• Support compliance and internal audit investigations and projects.
