Senior Employment Litigation Attorney (10+ Years Exp. Required)

Our established plaintiff-side employment litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Litigation Attorney to lead high-stakes litigation involving public and private entities throughout New Jersey.

This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives in complex employment matters, enjoys substantial autonomy, and is prepared to immediately assume a leadership role in sophisticated multi-plaintiff litigation.

The attorney will work directly with senior partners, supported by associates and two dedicated full-time paralegals assigned exclusively to these matters.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex employment litigation matters from discovery through resolution
Manage and analyze substantial discovery records and develop strategic case theories
Prepare and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and public officials
Draft and argue dispositive motions, discovery motions, and mediation statements
Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of civil litigation experience required
Significant New Jersey employment litigation experience preferred (NJLAD, CEPA, whistleblower and retaliation claims)
Active New Jersey bar license in good standing required
Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills
New Jersey Certified Civil Trial Attorney designation is a plus

Compensation:
Base salary: $150,000$200,000, commensurate with experience
