Seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney for the Baton Rouge office with a minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience, including depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.

Requires Skills

• Qualified candidates will possess minimum three (3) years' commercial litigation experience. Experience in taking depositions, writing motions, and responding to discovery are highly desired. Our associates work hand in hand with partners on all phases of litigation, case reporting, electronic discovery, and depositions, through trial preparation.

• Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.

• Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with clients and to further develop client and referral relationships.

• Candidates should be able to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end, regularly handle court appearances and depositions, have experience with electronic discovery platforms such as Relativity, take the lead with client communication, and provide meaningful updates.

• The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement in law school, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Candidates must be in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
