Seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary with 3+ years of law firm litigation support experience to assist attorneys with court filings, pleadings, document management, and administrative coordination.
Responsibilities
Draft correspondence, memos, pleadings, and engagement letters, including proofreading and redlining for accuracy and formatting.
Work closely with attorneys and assist with preparation of court filings, pleadings, memoranda, and discovery documents.
E-file documents with various state and federal courts and agencies.
Maintain files and organize electronic filings, correspondence, and documents within the firm's document management system (NetDocs).
Open new client/matter files and run conflict checks.
Maintain calendars and client contacts.
Coordinate travel and meeting logistics, including scheduling video conferences, conference calls, conference rooms, equipment requests, and presentation materials.
Handle additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary.
Strong organizational and proofreading skills.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience using electronic document management systems and remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Skype for Business, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail, strong time management, and organizational abilities.
Ability to anticipate needs and work independently with minimal direction on routine responsibilities.
