If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the United Stes Attorney's Office (USAO), Northern District of Texas, serving as the Supervisory Legal Administrive Specialist, which includes duties as first line supervisor of the Criminal Division paralegals and as second line supervisor to Criminal Division legal assistants and support staff. Typical work assignments will include:
- Performing a full range of first line supervisory duties associed with supervising legal support staff.
- Organizing and directing the activities of legal support staff.
- Providing legal, technical, and clerical support to torneys and legal support staff.
- Assisting torneys and managing legal support staff in organizing voluminous case informion.
- Performing a variety of complex administrive duties reling to the management of an office.
- Advise, counsel, and instruct staff on both legal work and administrive mters.

You must be a current permanent Department of Justice employee with competitive stus or a CTAP/RPL eligible candide.

Qualificions
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Legal Administrive Specialist, GS-0901-12, you must meet the basic qualificion requirements listed below.
To be eligible the GS-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience organizing and directing the activities of legal support staff; providing legal, technical, and clerical support to torneys; providing technical advice to legal support staff; assisting torneys and managing legal support staff in organizing voluminous case informion; performing a variety of complex administrion support reling to the management and administrive support of the division.
You MUST meet all qualificion requirements, including time-in-grade, by the 05/29/2026 of this announcement.

A list of any awards (e.g. superior performance awards, special act or achievement awards, quality step increase, etc.) you received in the last 5 years.
