LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established firm to hire a Paralegal for its Employee Benefits practice. If you have retirement plan experience and take pride in accurate, high-quality work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a team handling sophisticated benefits matters with a strong client-service focus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with matters involving retirement plans, including documentation and compliance-related tasks
Support attorneys with research and administrative functions tied to employee benefits laws and regulations
Prepare, review, and organize legal and client-facing materials
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and responsive manner
Maintain organized files and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
Qualifications
At least 2+ years of experience working with retirement plans, either in a legal setting or with a third-party administrator or recordkeeping organization
Exposure to health and welfare benefit plans or executive compensation arrangements is a plus
Familiarity with compliance considerations related to employee benefits is strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically and problem-solve
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Professional, client-service-oriented approach
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience working with benefits-related document generation software is a plus
