ParalegalPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys by managing case files, preparing and filing court documents, and coordinating with clients, courts, and vendors. The Paralegal will ensure timely and accurate e-filing, maintain organized documentation, assist with legal research and drafting, and help streamline case workflows to support successful outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and affidavits for filing and service.Perform e-filing of court documents across relevant jurisdictions and maintain filing calendars and confirmations.Manage case files and document databases: organize, index, scan, and maintain both electronic and paper records to ensure completeness and accessibility.Conduct legal research and compile summaries of statutes, case law, and procedural rules to support attorney strategy and pleadings.Coordinate with courts, process servers, clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings.Track deadlines, court dates, and statute of limitations; prepare and maintain litigation calendars and case timelines.Assist with intake, client communications, and the preparation of client correspondence and affidavits.Support preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions including assembling exhibit binders, trial notebooks, and witness materials.Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures, ethical rules, and court requirements.Use legal practice management software to update case statuses, generate reports, and bill time where applicable.QualificationsParalegal Certificate or equivalent legal studies (Associates/Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred).2+ years of paralegal experience in litigation or transactional practice, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated experience with e-filing systems and court filing procedures across state and/or federal jurisdictions.Proven ability to prepare and file court documents accurately and timely, and familiarity with local court rules and filing deadlines.Strong legal research and writing skills; experience using legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) preferred.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.Proficient with Microsoft Office, PDF management tools, and common legal case management software; experience with document automation tools a plus.Clear and professional written and oral communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients and court personnel.High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.BenefitsHealth Insurance401KPTO
