Responsibilities:
Perform general office and administrative duties including answering phones, copying, mailing, faxing, emailing, filing, and data entry
Assist litigation attorneys with discovery-related tasks
Draft, respond to, and propound written discovery
Obtain and organize medical records and charts
Coordinate scheduling and maintain calendars for court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and internal deadlines
Maintain calendars for assigned active cases
Draft legal documents, pleadings, forms, and correspondence
Manage deposition transcripts, including obtaining signatures and forwarding completed documents to opposing counsel
Save and organize electronic case files and transcripts
Organize legal documents including pleadings, briefs, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, affidavits, and discovery materials
Track filing dates, hearing dates, trial dates, and schedule conferences/interviews
Coordinate attorney travel arrangements including itineraries, transportation, and hotel reservations
Produce legal and administrative documents using various office software applications
Assemble and organize files for storage or records management
Assist attorneys with case management and litigation support
Support multiple attorneys with motions, pleadings, legal research, factual investigations, and other litigation-related tasks
