CME and license fee reimbursementwe've got you covered. *Offered benefits dependent upon employee eligibility and criteria Job Description: Purpose of Job: Improve the overall health of the communities we serve and expand the availability of health care by assisting one of the departments below as follows: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Finance: Performs departmental administrative support tasks, such as scanning and attaching documents. Assists and backs up routine accounting processes, such as cash receipts, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger. Assists with data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting. Prepares research, calculations, analysis, and reporting for special projects. Legal: Conducts research projects on various state and federal laws and regulations. Reviews and draft documents, agreements and contracts. Assists with audits conducted by Compliance and Risk Management departments. Assists with organization of data and documentation filing. Workforce Development: Assists with administrative duties related to benefits, recruitment, learning and development, other departmental activities. Assists with audits conducted by Workforce Development department. Researches, collects data, and completes written reports for special projects. Operations: Completes assigned projects thoroughly and within given parameters. Communicates effectively with stakeholders. Assists with clinic-based operational tasks and projects as assigned. Population Health: Assists with Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) programs Conducts research and creates reports on various projects Supports Community Health Worker projects with target patient populations Supports Population Health events at CHAS Clinics and in the community. Graphic Design: Assist in the creation and editing of the design and layout of print and electronic marketing materials, including brochures, direct mail pieces, advertisements, stationery, and newsletters. Ensures the quality and accuracy of marketing materials by carefully reviewing own work and adhering to the correct use of established brand standards. Work collaboratively with members of Communications & Graphic Design team to ensure deadlines are met consistently. Business Intelligence: Assists with organization of documentation across department. Completes assigned work tasks under guidance. Works collaboratively with department team members to complete projects as assigned. All: Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Finance: At least six months experience in an administrative environment preferred. Must be currently enrolled as a full time college student pursuing a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Legal: At least six months experience in an administrative environment preferred. Must have juris doctorate degree or be currently enrolled in juris doctorate degree program. Workforce Development, BI, & Operations: At least six months experience in an administrative environment preferred. Must be currently enrolled as a full time college student. Population Health: At least six months experience in an administrative environment preferred. Must be currently enrolled as a full time college student. Graphic Design: At least six months experience working with major graphic arts applications including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat. Must be currently enrolled as a full time college student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field. Skills: Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent time management and organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills, intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), exceptional understanding of confidentiality. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required. Physical Demands: Must talk, hear, and sit more than two-thirds of the day. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/and or move up to 25 pounds.
